A young woman contacted me for help with a re-occuring nightmare of a bad childhood experience when she the was the victim of being abused by a baby sitter at the age of 12.
This was a secret for many years as she felt ashamed and her parents knew the abuser.
She had attended counselling in the past after which she thought she was able to cope with her feelings but more recently the nightmares had returned and was effecting her sleep, her relationship with her husband and children. In addition it was having a big impact on her work and performance.
She just felt she could not move on.
After one session of Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) by skype she could not believe that she did not feel the hurt or the emotion of what had happened to her all those years ago it had finally gone!
